What you will learn
Wiring
House wiring, industrial workshop and godown wiring, tunnel wiring, light/fan/power wiring, with BIS norms, maintenance and repair.
Electrical Quantities
Current, voltage, power, power factor, kilowatt-hour, frequency, resistance and more — explained through instruments and experiments.
Measuring Instruments
Ammeter, voltmeter, power factor meter, frequency meter, wattmeter, kilowatt-hour meter — principle, construction and working through practicals.
Electrical Machines
D.C. machines, alternators, A.C. motors, transformers and converters — principles, working, classification, maintenance and repair.
Winding
Winding of all the above machines through hands-on practicals.
Electrical Appliances
Rewinding, maintenance and repair of stabilizers, heaters, geysers, irons, fans, coolers, mixers, washing machines, water pumps and more.
Career outlook
