Why this I.T.I. was founded

Wealthy families can afford higher education for their children. Children from poor families — many from minority communities — often stop after high school or intermediate and, without skills, end up doing daily labour or small jobs. If such children receive I.T.I. training, they can work as skilled craftsmen in government institutions, factories and even abroad, at low cost. This idea inspired the founding of the institute.

Our Story

Qazi Izfarul Haq Zaki, founder of Muslim Fund Najibabad, visited Delhi a few years before the institute was established. There, Mr. Nadeem Ahmad Siddiqui drew his attention to the I.T.I. set up by the Deoband Muslim Fund. Inspired by this, Qazi Ji bought land opposite Qasmia Inter College and entrusted the work of building the institute to Mr. Nadeem Ahmad. With great experience and tireless effort, the institute was recognized by RDAT Kanpur and N.C.V.T. on 24 August 2012.

Why an I.T.I. certificate matters

In any industry, one B.Tech. engineer is typically supported by four or five diploma holders, and each diploma holder by four to six I.T.I. technicians. This is why I.T.I. training opens up more employment opportunities than almost any other route. A skilled I.T.I. holder is genuinely needed and valued.

Management — Muslim Fund, Najibabad

Muslim Fund Najibabad was founded in 1971 by people who rose above self-interest to serve humanity, including Qazi Izfarul Haq Zaki. Seeing that poor people face the greatest hardships — unable to get bank loans in emergencies and forced to borrow from moneylenders at very high interest — he gathered like-minded supporters and established the fund to provide loans to poor people at very low cost. Today it has branches in Delhi, Lucknow, Kanpur and other cities.

•Aagosh Hospital, Najibabad — treatment with medicine for a nominal fee
•Weekly eye specialists and monthly heart specialists from Delhi
•Annual free eye-surgery camp with medicines and spectacles
•Free medical camps on special occasions
•Low-cost medical tests by experienced doctors
•Relief support for disaster-affected people
